• Read Catsoulis Chapter 2
• Read the Z8 databook chapters on  “Signal Pins”, “Address Space”, and “Register File”.
• Look through the Z8 databook chapters on “Instruction Set”, and“Opcode Map”.
• Read the chapter of the IDE manual on the IDE and Debugging.

• Read Encore! Zilog’s Z8 Flash Memory-Based Micro, A Guide To Debouncing, Solving Switch Bounce Problems, My Favorite Software Debouncers, Introduction to Interrupts, Introduction to Memory Types, Introduction to Reentrancy, Introduction to Endianness

Homework:

• Write a simple program to blink a single LED.

• Modify that program to react to the user pressing a button (for example blink a different LED when the user presses a button, or blink faster/slower each time a button is pressed)

Presentation:
