Plug in your Z8F6403 evaluation board. Install the IDE. Make sure everything works. Try out the simple example from class or make your own. Make sure you can create a new project, enter your program source, compile it, download it to the evaluation board, and run the program. There is no grade for this lab and there is nothing to turn in. But if you are having problems you need to resolve these soon, ask me in class or email me.
